The SHINE project, initiated by Kesho Kenya in collaboration with KWEA CBO and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) of Kenya, aimed at cultivating honesty, integrity, and equality among students in Kenya's educational system. Through Integrity Clubs established in schools and colleges as per the Ministry of Education's directive, SHINE engaged students in identifying and addressing issues within their educational environment. Utilizing a Community Integrity Building Model, the project fostered peer accountability, skill development, and mentorship among students. Activities including community outreach, skill-building workshops, and cultural events like fashion shows were utilized to instill moral values and empower youth. SHINE's holistic approach sought to create a culture of integrity and ethical behavior, contributing to a brighter future for Kenya's youth.
